Oh yeah.. happy thanksgiving.. belated

Nad’s back from Belgium for over a week now.. she’s gonna stay here for another week.. maybe longer. This is no ordinary fun trip back to Singapore, for sure. Her dad is sick.. very sick. Been in hospital for two weeks. However, for the past 2 days, his condition is improving. Thank goodness. Still in icu but he’s awake now. At least, he now knows she’s here.

This incident has made me realise that at some point in my life, I will have to put everything aside wherever I am in the world and come back to be with my family.. should anything happen.

But I worry.. what if I can’t come back on time? Will I regret my choices? Will I have the means to leave everything and go? Will I be able to forgive myself for the rest of my life?

I guess that’s the harsh truth of life.. if you think about it now, everything seems so clear.. there’s no two-ways about it. However, when you are faced with it.. there never fails to be lots of hindrances along the way.

I guess we just have to wait and see how time will test us.. and see how we’ll deal with it. I just hope I won’t regret my choices.

I’ve never had so many birthday celebrations! It is two days after my birthday and I am still celebrating! I had a grand total of 4 celebrations this year! Amazing! Well, I am not complaining though. It is always nice when your friends, colleagues and even students come up to you with well wishes and even HUGE presents. You just feel loved!

Thank you to my family for the special “two cakes for two people” celebration.. to my colleagues/friends for the delicious blackforest cake Yummy!

My dear husband has migrated the site to a different location.. and this is where all the Stoelwinders shall gather

Wordpress is pretty groovy actually.. and definitely more user-friendly than Movable Type, which I used previously. Can’t wait to play around with all the features!

Oh yes.. the school holidays are here.. the kids are taking their O’s.. I hope they have prepared themselves well enough. There’s only so much you can do. Just hope that they are trying their best!

Gonna be updating a couple of stuff on this site soon.. links to photo albums.. maybe put up some of my lessons/notes.. among other things.
