What’s your Daemon?

Got this from Clarisse’s site. Had to try it :)

What Is Your Daemon?
brought to you by Quizilla

Your Daemon, as in the Philip Pullman series His Dark Materials, is a physical manifestation of part of your soul – it is your intimate companion, and comforter, and it is that little voice inside your head. It’s gender is usually the opposite of yours, although some people have a daemon of the same sex. It always takes the form of an animal.

Here is mine.

The Dog

DOG – Your daemon may be a dog if you are loyal and caring, and like to know what is expected of you. You probably are very family oriented, and have a small group of friends that you are very close to, rather than a large group of acquaintances. You dislike confrontation, but you will stand up and fight for the people and issues that you really care about. You may prefer someone else to take the lead in a situation, although you would rather take the lead yourself than have the situation fall apart. You probably enjoy routine and order, but that doesn’t mean you don’t like to have fun. If anything, your friends probably know you for getting intense, child-like pleasure in the small things in life.

The new year is already here.. a week has passed. School has begun. In fact, work is already starting to pile up.

I am currently teaching all the 4 normal academic and normal technical classes.. and the form teacher to 4NA. And since I am only teaching all the 4N classes, that means that I will be free after the N level exams! Yipppee! :P Well, I just hope that they’ll study hard and do well at the end of the year. High expectations from everyone because of the previous batches’ results. And that means lots of work to do!

Before I get caught up with this year.. I should state for the record that 2005 had been a good year. Marrying the love of my life, going on trips, travelling with my family, welcoming new babies (Jamie Eckl and Hector), experiencing the classes (challenging but worth it!) as well as sharing the laughter and tears with good friends. Of course, there were the bad parts too.. but they are there to remind you to be true to who you are and to love your family and appreciate your friends, because you’ll never know when they’ll be gone. Some by choice and others not.

The year 2005 ended with the grad night at Conrad. My lovely 5Ns and 4TC. Everyone looked great.. some people were missing.. not sure why.. but they were missed, especially Stella. Seeing them as a class for the last time.. ok maybe second last time. Next time, it’d be for the results.

I hope those who were there had loads of fun, I sure did. The games were silly but everyone laughed a lot. I guess the best moment to me was when I had to put my hand into Evon’s skirt to grab the spoon out.. THAT i sure will remember for a long while! haha! Sorry Evon! :P

Thanks Darfina, Chloe, Rosli and Alfian for representing the class in the pageant. You guys were great! In my opinion, you guys gave the better answers compared to the rest :P ok ok.. i am biased.. but you guys were great anyways! :P Congrats to Darfina for being Miss YISS 2006 :) Wohooo.. future Ms Singapore perhaps?

Wonderful memories for sure.. so I guess I should say goodbye to 2005.. say hello to 2006..
