At last.. it’s over!! All the hard work put in by the prefects, SLs and performers have paid off. Despite having only a window period of 2 weeks (with many disruptions in between) to prepare EVERYTHING.. from collecting money, buying logistics, planning for decor, holding auditions, carrying out rehearsals, collating dedications, getting the essays, preparing the powerpoint slides, preparing the “keys” to give out to the teachers and transforming the foyer and hall for the celebration…. I think they did an excellent job! They make me proud. Thank you for your hard work. At the end, what matters most is that the teachers enjoyed the celebration and felt loved.

Thank you to all the friends who gave little gifts and cards and specially-made bookmark! Thank you to all the kids who wrote me an essay. I love reading my essays! Thank you to all the kids who came by with cakes, cookies, mentos, presents, cards and well-wishes. Even kids whose names I have forgotten! Ooops! And knowing that they are successful in their lives makes me feel even more proud of them. Thank you to Chee Kang, TYC and all for the lunch. You guys always make my day! And of course to Izzah!!! Naughty naughty!! She told me she wasn’t coming!! I was so happy to see her! Went out with the girls for ice-cream. They helped me with clearing up my table after that. And then it was home sweet home.
